Igyeon

Igyeon (이견) is a free Korean-language discussion web app centered on public-policy, social, and cultural questions. It gives readers a way to move from seeing a current issue to comparing different viewpoints and explaining their own position. The interface presents issues one at a time, with short context and contrasting pro and con explanations. A reader can explore an issue in more detail before joining the conversation.
For each question, participants can choose agreement, disagreement, or an undecided position. They can also leave an opinion without registering. This makes the initial experience accessible to someone who wants to try a discussion without creating another account. An undecided option gives people room to say that they need more information rather than forcing an immediate choice between two sides. Discussion is organized around the question, so the subject remains visible while people consider different reasons.
The site distinguishes reviewed issue explanations from automatically posted questions. Reviewed explanations include source links, while automatically posted questions carry a separate label. Visitors can follow the available background material and use it to understand the context of a debate. Subjects visible on the site include public spending, digital services, media policy, consumer issues, and cultural events. The service is intended for Korean readers interested in discussing such topics through a lightweight browser experience.
Participation figures describe the choices made by visitors to the site. They should not be interpreted as a representative public-opinion poll, a verified electorate, or a formal policy decision. Igyeon provides a place for discussion and perspective sharing; the number of people choosing a position does not establish whether that position is factually correct.
Igyeon is available on the web at its own public website. Its core reading and guest discussion experience is free. It can be useful for exploring how a question is framed, reading competing considerations, and contributing a reasoned response in Korean. This listing is submitted on behalf of the project operator and describes the features currently presented by the site.
